Mauricio Pessoa

Rio de Janeiro native Mauricio Pessoa is a singer/songwriter emanating from the current crop of young Brazilian music artists. Pessoa’s music is a reflection of the Brazilian landscape drawing inspiration from travel experiences and the sound of Bossa Nova, Samba and Jazz, specifically touching on the everyday lives of Rio de Janeiro’s unique spirit and character. In fact, the two songs  featured here talk about the bohemian lifestyle in the Leblon area.
