Mônica Da Silva: Brasilissima

As a Brazilian American singer, Mônica Da Silva grew up between the USA and Belem, Brazil. Featured on national and international commercials and TV shows such as MTV, CBS andE!, she is an up-and-coming artist known for her original sound, which is a mix of Bossa Nova, World Music and Indie Pop.

Mônica has recently been nominated for an International Brazilian Press Award in the US in two categories: Best Brazilian Female Vocalist and Best Album, and she is the Editor’s Choice Artist in the Brazilian radio show Connect Brazil.

Leblon Caipirinhas at the Visionaire Party

On December 2nd, the fabulous Visionaire Party was hosted at the Delano Hotel in Miami Beach. Design features by Philippe Starck dazzled guests, as did displays by the trendy Brazilian shoe brand Melissa. Barefoot couples sipped Leblon Caipirinhas while seated at candlelit tables set inside a shallow pool. Brazilian samba dancers added to the excitement with a carnival-style performance.
